Sky High THC Honey: Oregon Summer Wildflower
Emerging from the verdant heart of Southern Oregon, our Oregon Summer Wildflower Honey is a splendid testament to the lush Rogue Valley’s diversity of flora. This gourmet honey carries the signature taste of the Valley’s bountiful summer bloom offerings, capturing the distinctive nectars of Blackberry, Star Thistle, Mustard, and a wide variety of indigenous wildflowers and trees.
Distinctively darker than our other varietals, this honey boasts a deep, rich hue – a visual feast that hints at its extraordinary content. This product is richly packed with higher concentrations of nutrients and vitamins, reflecting the fertile soils of its origin.
With each stick, you’ll discover a somewhat sweet yet subtly earthy taste. This complex flavor profile, combined with its healthful qualities, makes our Oregon Summer Wildflower Honey an irresistible indulgence for both the discerning palate and the health-conscious individual.
Our Beekeeping Colleagues
We are thrilled to associate with local beekeepers who practice ethical and caring methods for honey collection.
Here is how they describe the process:
“As a smaller commercial bee operation, we follow a strict set of guidelines with regards to how we handle our honey. For starters, we pull the honey from our hives by hand, using escape boards overnight, gently allowing bees to return to the Queen and Babies below.
Once honey is placed in our processing room, it is extracted that day by the beekeeper utilizing no heat and no filtration systems common in commercial operations. The honey is allowed to settle overnight.
From here, the honey is either bottled or sealed thus limiting degradation of honey constituents which include enzyme activity, vitamins and antioxidants present in this precious whole food.
Be prepared to savor this delectable gold provided by our hardworking girls!”
